关于这个 Live ISO
Gentoo 中文社区定制的 KDE Plasma 6 桌面 Live ISO,每周自动构建。开箱即中文、三语言可选,可直接上手体验,也能装到硬盘。下面讲清里面有什么、常用项怎么配。
开机选语言(简 / 繁 / 英)
GRUB 启动菜单顶部三档:简体中文 / 正體中文(臺灣)/ English。选哪个,桌面界面、Firefox、输入法都跟着切。特殊启动模式放在三个子菜单(闭源 NVIDIA、安全显卡、拷贝到内存),每个也都含三语言,可任意组合。
多种启动方式
除常规启动外,GRUB 还提供:拷贝到内存(整盘载入内存后运行,U 盘可拔、跑得更快)、安全显卡模式(nomodeset,点不亮的卡兜底进桌面)、从本地硬盘启动(误插 U 盘时)。每个都含三语言。
中文输入法(fcitx5 + rime)
默认是朙月拼音(简体)。要切换其它方案:
- 右键托盘的输入法图标 →「方案 / Schema」,在里面勾选或切换:朙月拼音(简体 / 繁体)、注音(ㄅㄆㄇ)、五笔86、仓颉、粤拼 等。
- Ctrl + `(反引号)在已启用的方案之间快速切换。
- Ctrl + 空格 开 / 关输入法。
注音、五笔、仓颉、粤拼 等首次使用时,在「方案」列表里勾上启用即可。
显卡:开源 nouveau / 闭源 NVIDIA
默认走开源 nouveau,即插即用。新卡(RTX 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 系)想要硬件加速:GRUB 选「闭源 NVIDIA 驱动」启动项。
遇到点不亮的疑难显卡,用「安全显卡模式」(nomodeset)兜底进桌面。
安装到硬盘
想正经把 Gentoo 装到硬盘、深入了解系统,推荐照 Gentoo 官方手册 一步步来。live 桌面也带了图形安装器:双击 「安装系统」启动 Calamares(界面跟随你在 live 选的语言),想快速装可以用;装好后会自动清理 live 专用的残留(开机自动登录等),并按你在 live 选的显卡给装好的系统配好驱动。
登录与硬件要求
- live 登录:用户
live/ 密码live/ Rootlive - 硬件:64 位 x86 CPU,需支持 AVX2(约 2013 年后的处理器);更老的 CPU 无法启动本镜像。
- 装好系统后,编译参数
CPU_FLAGS_X86会在首次开机按你的 CPU 自动生成。 - 下载后请核对

About this Live ISO
The Gentoo Chinese Community’s custom KDE Plasma 6 desktop Live ISO, rebuilt automatically every week. Chinese out of the box, with three UI languages to choose from — try it live or install it to disk. Here’s what’s inside and how to set up the common bits.
Pick a language at boot (Simplified / Traditional / English)
The top of the GRUB menu has three choices: 简体中文 / 正體中文(臺灣) / English. Whichever you pick, the desktop, Firefox and the input method all follow. The special boot modes sit in three submenus (proprietary NVIDIA, safe graphics, copy-to-RAM), each also available in all three languages, so you can mix and match.
Several ways to boot
Besides the normal boot, GRUB also offers: copy-to-RAM (loads the whole image into memory, so the USB stick is removable and things run faster), safe graphics mode (nomodeset, a fallback to reach the desktop on cards that won’t light up), and boot from the local disk (for when you left the USB stick plugged in). Each comes in all three languages.
Chinese input (fcitx5 + rime)
The default is Pinyin (Simplified). To switch to another schema:
- Right-click the input-method tray icon → “Schema”, then enable or switch among: Pinyin (Simplified / Traditional), Zhuyin (Bopomofo), Wubi 86, Cangjie, Cantonese (Jyutping), and more.
- Ctrl + ` (backtick) cycles quickly through the enabled schemas.
- Ctrl + Space toggles the input method on/off.
Zhuyin, Wubi, Cangjie, Jyutping and the rest just need to be ticked in the “Schema” list the first time you use them.
Graphics: open-source nouveau / proprietary NVIDIA
By default it uses the open-source nouveau driver — plug and play. On newer cards (RTX 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 series), for hardware acceleration pick the “proprietary NVIDIA driver” boot entry in GRUB.
For stubborn cards that won’t light up, use “safe graphics mode” (nomodeset) to fall back to the desktop.
Install to disk
For a proper Gentoo install — and to actually understand your system — we recommend following the Gentoo Handbook step by step. The live desktop also ships a graphical installer if you want a quick install: double-click “Install System” to launch Calamares (its language follows whatever you picked in the live session). When it finishes it automatically clears out the live-only leftovers (autologin and so on), and sets up the installed system’s graphics driver to match the one you chose in the live session.
Login & hardware requirements

- After install, the
CPU_FLAGS_X86compile setting is generated automatically on first boot, based on your CPU. - After downloading, verify the
sha256/md5(listed on the download page).
